La Liga returns after the international break, and the outsiders are the first to get into action. Cadiz and Granada occupy adjacent lines in the table, but while the hosts still can save themselves from relegation, the guests, apparently, are already preparing for a departure to Segunda.

Just before the break for international matches, Cadiz began to gain points. With the appointment of Mauricio Pellegrino, the team got a chance for salvation. The "yellows" made it clear that they would fight to the end by beating Atletico. However, immediately after their first victory in more than six months, there was a failure. In the away match against Real Sociedad, the outsider showed practically nothing, barely avoiding a rout.

Granada had a great February, scoring points in all three matches. The upcoming match is the last hope for salvation for Alexander Medina's charges. The gap from Cadiz is eight points, so a defeat in the battle with a direct competitor will mean only one thing – inevitable relegation.
